Tony Rodriguez Band

My name is Tony Rodriguez and I wish to thank you for visiting my music site. I originally hail from south/central Texas via Austin but now make my home in Fort Worth.  My music is blues/rock based with a touch of R n B and Soul.  I’ve been on a six year hiatus from playing live but have maintained myself musically through recording and intermittent song and EP releases.  I’ve been away from my passion for playing live for too long now and am ready to jump back in.  During my career I’ve collaborated with many great artists including Brian Wooten of Too Smooth and Trace Adkins Tommy Macdonald of Buddy Guy just to name a few.

My musical style was heavily influenced by the Vaughan brothers, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix. I started out in Austin by way of San Antonio in the mid 1990’s where I was fortunate enough to play the honkytonks and juke joints from South Padre Island to the Antone’s stage in Austin on up to headlining the Mansfield Music Festival in North Texas.

My music can be found under the Tony Rodriguez Band in I Tunes and Spotify respectively and there are countless videos via YouTube.  I look forward to providing you the soul of music.
